Climbing is in our blood. It’s one of those primal sports—like running or swimming—that feels deeply human and instinctive.
Rock climbing is a personal, non-competitive challenge, open to everyone. It’s about teamwork, trust, movement, and connecting with nature in truly unique places.
Whether it’s your first time on the rock or you’re looking to refine your skills, this experience is designed to be welcoming, safe, and unforgettable.
We’ll climb at Vedauwoo’s Beehive, one of the most iconic climbing areas in Wyoming. Located just 30 minutes from Laramie, the area features stunning granite formations and a short 15–20 minute hike through a beautiful forest to reach the climbing area.
We’ll meet at Laramie Basecamp to organize transportation, check that everyone has the minimum required gear, and go over the plan for the day.
From Laramie, the drive takes about 30 minutes—good music, good conversation, and maybe even some snacks along the way.
Once at the trailhead, we’ll distribute the shared climbing equipment and begin the short hike through the forest to the granite wall.
At the base of the rock, we’ll have a final technical briefing covering safety, movement, and communication. Then the fun begins: rock climbing and rappelling, plenty of learning, encouragement, and of course photos and videos to capture the day.
We’ll enjoy a relaxed lunch break between climbing sessions, and as the day winds down, we’ll hike back to the vehicles and return to Laramie—possibly in search of a well-earned beer to celebrate the adventure.
